I was born and raised on the North Shore of Vancouver, B.C. and still feel blessed to call North and West Vancouver my home! I truly believe there is no place on earth more beautiful. I have spent my life discovering all the amazing things this area has to offer and make a habit of being a tourist in my own town, as there is always something new to explore. I’m an avid skier and love our local mountains.
I'm also a dog lover and you may see us out walking with my new little best buddy Ben.
Loving where I live makes buying and selling real estate a true pleasure and a perfect opportunity for me to showcase my community to folks like you, every day!
Years ago, when I made the ‘right’ move to real estate from a top position in the television/media industry, it was important for me to take every course available, glean information from the best in the business, and immerse myself in every aspect of real estate in B.C. The more knowledge I have, the better job I can do to serve you. So I continue to learn, to keep on top of ever-changing markets and, most importantly, to keep apprised of the expressed needs and wants of my clients. Also, I’m a techie! Embracing communication technologies for many years has given me the ability to target and enhance the reach of my listings. With these relevant social media platforms, combined with traditional modes of advertising, I ensure the best possible exposure for my clients' properties, in a way few others do.
I can proudly say I have over twenty-seven successful years of experience in selling, management and negotiating the best possible outcome for my clients. I am in the real estate business because I truly love it, which, in itself, is a great reason to choose me to work for you.
Primarily, however, I believe I am here to ease you through the process, where you can look back and say “Wow! Thanks Phil! That was an easy transition!”
I am always grateful for your business and am dedicated to do the best job for you, so you will happily refer my services to your friends and family.
I want to be your choice for realtor, even if it will be a while before you need one, and I want to earn your trust by paying attention to every detail so you don’t have to. Let me work hard to sell your property for top dollar on your timeline and/or find you the home of your dreams.
I am at your service!
When you decide you'd like to buy or sell a home, or if someone you care about is talking about it, please contact me. I am more than pleased to help you or them myself or to make sure to get another real estate professional to help you if you are in another area. In Canada or throughout the world, I can help you find an agent to help you with your needs of selling or buying the right home for you.
I started my education at Holy Trinity Elementary school, transferred to Westview Elementary, moved on to Hamilton Junior Secondary and then graduated from Carson Graham High School. Next was Capilano College, now Capilano University. Does that mean I get to say I went to university? I guess not.
I was also lucky enough to spend most of my summers with my aunt and uncle (Margret & Phil Snowden) at Point Roberts, Washington. It was a beautiful way to spend summers with great friends.
During college, I worked at a number of restaurants as a waiter and loved it. I guess, like now, serving people has always been a passion of mine. You may have been served by me at Torchy's Rib House in North Vancouver, or The Village Chalet after the ownership and complete menu changed. I also worked at Pietro's Restaurant on Hastings (not far from the PNE). I'm still looking for Italian food that good! The Sundowner in Sunset Marina was another great place to work in the spectacular setting just off the Sea to Sky Highway about 5 minutes past Horseshoe Bay.
I'd love to hear if I’ve had the opportunity to serve you in the past and, if not, I hope to be able to serve in the future.
